On the way to an ecosystem for real estate 

Our success story started in 1998 with 12 employees. ImmoScout24 revolutionised the real estate market and grew rapidly with the brilliant idea of bringing property providers and property seekers together via the Internet.  

By the year 2000, we already had 150 employees. In the meantime, around 650 employees now work at our location at Berlin central station. We are constantly developing new solutions and groundbreaking products, so that our customers and users can make well-founded decisions about real estate transactions.

    The first nationwide online real estate marketplace

    The start of a successful journey: ImmoScout24 launches as the first nationwide online real estate marketplace for Germany.

    From now on, private renters and sellers can advertise on ImmoScout24.

    From an advertising platform to a service platform

    From an advertising platform to a service platform: ImmoScout24 is expanding its range of services: financinghouse building and relocation.

    ImmoScout24 is introducing online property valuation and thus making the property market more transparent.

    ImmoScout24 grows

    ImmoScout24 is now also active on the Austrian residential and commercial real estate market. By now, we reached around three million users every month in Austria.

    Since 2012, we've been awarding the annual PremiumPartner for realtors.

    With the MarktNavigator, we provide them with an innovative tool for acquisition, analysis and market observation.

    EigentümerPlus and FLOWFACT

    With EigentümerPlus, we help private sellers to find quick and comprehensive answers to the complex questions about renting and selling.

    Since 2014, FLOWFACT is a subsidiary of ImmoScout24. Since then, we've  been working closely together with the aim of continuing to offer the best CRM software for realtors.

    Virtual Tours

    Virtual reality is making its way into the property market. ImmoScout24 introduces virtual tours, which are recorded with the help of 360-degree cameras.

    Our price atlas ensures transparency on the market

    ImmoScout24 is the only real estate platform with its own search for commercial properties. With the Immobilienatlas, we provide more transparency on the market and with our own Alexa skill for voice control, we take the apartment search to the next level. 

    In 2018 we celebrated our 20th birthday: We have been working on the future for 20 years. It is because we want to understand today what the needs of our users will be tomorrow. We have compiled more information on this on the page "20 years in tomorrow".

    MieterPlus+

    With MieterPlus+, we can now bring seekers into their new home even faster. Plus members receive exclusive functions such as free credit information and a digital applicant folder.

    With our Home Seller World, we guide owners of houses and apartments through the various steps of the sales process. 

    Our new location analysis tool provides the decisive competitive advantage in the location decision. With digital location analysis, we link unique data on demand and supply with location factors that are decisive for success. Since 2019, we have been discussing the important social issues of housing with the public and other market players on our debate platform, Wohnen Weiter Denken

  14. 2020

    ImmoScout24 introduces a new brand design

    We started the new year with a big bang with a new brand design: ImmobilienScout24 is now called ImmoScout24, swapping the old blue-orange for a bright turquoise and making decisions about real estate even easier. 

    With the Home Builder Hub, we accompany our users on this "once-in-a-lifetime" project. From the search for a location, to planning, to financing and moving. VermieterPlus is the service package for private landlords and offers digital rental agreements, free advertisements and different templates. As of this year, our KäuferPlus users benefit from a high-quality digital document folder, free property valuation and an opportunity analysis. 

    Since 2020 immoverkauf24 has also been part of the Scout24 Group. immoverkauf24 is the first web portal in Germany to specialise in advising owners on the sale of property.

    As if that were not enough, we got a new home. From Berlin Friedrichshain, we moved to Berlin Mitte – to the capital's most modern and smart office

    And our journey still continues. 

  15. 2021

    Scout24 takes over Vermietet.de, a leading online platform for private landlords

    In the future, the services of Vermietet.de will be combined with the product range of ImmoScout24 in the future. With ImmoScout24, owners can find suitable tenants. With Vermietet.de, they can now also manage their complete rental relationship.

    We have completely revised our price atlas and added new functions. It is based on data for over 43 million advertised properties. The free data tool shows the purchase and rental prices currently on the market throughout Germany for counties, city districts or even individual addresses. - For both houses and apartments.

    ImmoScout24 presented its new data report on the development of the real estate market in April 2021. The "ImmoScout24 WohnBarometer" shows the development of residential real estate in real prices, unlike other market reports that are based on indices. 

    ImmoScout24 has joined forces with the homeless project ONE WARM WINTER to launch the HOME STREET HOME initiative. The goal: to help people who currently have no roof over their heads find housing. 

  16. 2022

    ImmoScout24 held its first digital real estate fair

    ImmoScout24 held its first digital real estate fair from March 24 to 27, 2022. Under the name @home, trade fair visitors and industry experts were able to access the online platform free of charge and conveniently from anywhere and find out about topics relating to housing.  

    We stand by Ukraine: We donate to the campaign Deutschland hilft and call on people to donate as well. We provide free advertising space for charity organisations. Private landlords and other private individuals can offer housing for refugees free of charge on our platform.

    ImmoScout24 has appointed Dr. Gesa Crockford as an additional managing director as of April 1, 2022. In her new role, Dr. Gesa Crockford is responsible for the sales organization, customer service, customer relationship management, and pricing. 

    The ImmoScout24 offer speaks for itself - quite literally now. Real estate properties take centre stage as the true stars in our "Ich bin Hier." campaign

  17. 2023

    Scout24 acquires Sprengnetter

    After a long and trusting partnership, we have acquired a majority stake in the Sprengnetter Group. The specialist service provider for market data and property valuations joined our corporate group in July 2023. We are thereby further expanding our digital ecosystem for real estate transactions and will be able to provide users and customers with even more precise market data in the future.
