Women Leaders at ImmoScout24: Meet Sabrina König, Head of Key Account Management
What is particularly important in key account management (KAM)?
Sabrina: Customer relationships at eye level are the ticket to success. This creates a professional basis for effective and trusting cooperation. Our focus for 2022 is: "The closer we are to the customer, the better we know their needs + goals." Our task in KAM/SKAM (Strategic Key Account Management) is to advise our customers competently, to know the appropriate products and to place them with the customer. Furthermore, we evaluate performances and discover new opportunities/approaches.
The goal is to win the largest possible share of the client's budget for the respective Scout through a high level of satisfaction.
What excites you about your work?
Sabrina: "The new"! I've been on board since May and come from a completely different industry (asset finance at B2B level). So far, I have had little to do with platform business, apart from being a user myself. Every day is exciting, delightful and hardly allows any routine. Our everyday life at ImmoScout24 is very vibrant.
My daily work is characterised by #OneTeam. That makes my job particularly attractive for me. With the KAM+SKAM Residential teams, I have a great team of capable sellers and team leads with whom I contribute to the success and growth of the company every day. It is fun and challenging for me to implement the new structures created at the end of 2021 and to pull together with everyone.
How would you describe your leadership style?
Sabrina: Cooperative. The basic values of my leadership style are: Transparency, fairness, honesty and openness.
How do you manage to switch off from work?
Sabrina: Every morning I do sports. This gives me a balanced start into the working day, although on some days of course I have to overcome my inner stubbornness. In the evenings during the week, it's usually easy to switch off with a good series or dinner with friends. At the weekends, my partner and I often (depending on what the Corona rules allow) go out with friends, try out new restaurants and/or cook ourselves. On holiday, definitely: BOOKS!
What advice do you have for other women?
Sabrina: Stay true to yourself.
Be open to new things.
Build up a good internal and external network.
Think big!
Who is your biggest role model?
Sabrina: There are a few people who inspire me. Let me name two that come to mind first:
- My grandparents, who built up their own company and ran it successfully for decades. As a result, I was lucky enough to experience first-hand and on a daily basis at a young age that responsibility, tireless commitment, perseverance and good ideas lead to success.
- Fran Lebowitz, an American writer. She never hides her often critical opinions, but puts them in such a charming and witty way - a real pleasure! If you also want to be inspired, watch the documentary "Pretend it's a city".
