Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 19 August 2025

Immobilien Scout GmbH endeavours to make its websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with national and European regulations on digital accessibility. This Accessibility Statement applies to the website www.immobilienscout24.de.

1. Compliance with accessibility guidelines

This website has been assessed on the basis of the following standards:

  • WCAG 2.1 – Level AA (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines)

  • BFSG (German Accessibility Strengthening Act)

  • Directive (EU) 2016/2102 on the accessibility of websites and mobile applications

Our website largely complies with these standards.

2. Our commitment to accessibility

We are committed to complying with accessibility standards and actively support accessible digital participation. We also seek to explain things as simply as possible. Therefore, we also work with people who have particular expertise in accessibility.

Our approach includes:

  • continuous review of our website for potential barriers;

  • systematic removal of identified barriers;

  • training our employees to raise awareness of accessibility;

  • cooperation with accessibility experts;

  • development of new functions with a focus on accessibility.

3. Current implementation

It is our declared objective to provide all content and functions without barriers. Our website already largely complies with the standards referred to above. Where we are not yet fully accessible, we are continuously working on improvements.

4. Areas with limited accessibility

There are individual areas and information that we are currently not yet able to make fully accessible. This concerns, in particular, historical content that was created before the current accessibility requirements entered into force. Retrofitting this content would require a disproportionate burden.

However, all new content is developed in accordance with the current accessibility standards.
